After Jay-Z was brought into the whole ruckus of the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez drama, Kodak Black has put himself in the middle too and offered his two cents.

In an Instagram Live, the "Super Gremlins" rapper took the time to defend his friend and frequent collaborator Tory Lanez after the recent verdict on his felony assault trial.

Lanez was convicted and found guilty of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Following his conviction, Lanez's legal camp issued a statement that gives his family and army of supporters a glint of hope.

"We are shocked by the verdict. There was not sufficient evidence to convict Mr. Peterson. We believe this case was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt. We will be exploring all options, including an appeal," they said in a statement.

Lanez's father, Sonstar Peterson, blasted Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers and even Roc Nation Exec Desiree Perez and Jay-Z too for the wicked injustice that has put his son in jail.

Kodak Black did not also spare Jay-Z in his fiery defense for his homie.

"Now I wasn't even in the courtroom, but at the same time, if there is some f--ked up s--t going on, n--gas ain't gonna want to say nothing because this whole politics bulls--t, and then all this JAY-Z s--t, homie," he said during the live.

The expletive-filled broadcast saw Kodak Black defending Tory Lanez's honor, even describing the embattled rapper as having a "kindred spirit," someone who would "stop and pray with you right quick."

"Now, I'm a God-fearing n-gga. If my brother actually did that shit, God gon' see it through to where he get the justifiable punishment He feel like he deserves for that," Kodak pointed out.

Kodak clarified that he is against people who hit women, saying that there are a lot of women in his family. But, he claims that Megan Thee Stallion, who testified on the stand, has been "caught" in a "few lies and s--t."

"Who advised that s--t to be right before Christmas? And JAY-Z standing behind that s--t? You a fuck n--ga, homie. And Megan, you supposed to be from the streets. Even if it was a damn gunshot, what the f--k?" he furthered.

Tory Lanez is facing a maximum jail time of 22 years. However, his sentencing doesn't take place until Jan. 27, 2023.
