Even after decades have passed, Drake's songs before he rose to fame still have jaw-dropping values.
A news outlet published a report on Wednesday confirming that Moments In Time would hold an auction to sell the handwritten lyrics Drake wrote when he was a teenager. It added that the rapper made the song while working at his uncle's furniture factory in Memphis.
After the company shut down, the papers were found in a dumpster near the area. One song called "Come Spring" seemingly has similar lyrics to his "Room For Improvement" mixtape, "Come Winter."
"We're in the age of conflict and knowledge, but we're trapped in this cage of barbed wire and wreckage with the freedom to go to college," Drake wrote. "The freedom to indulge and dissolve ourselves in the process, the law says you have witnessed/An audience in the race of silence."
The handwritten songs will be up for auction for $20,000.
It was not the first time his belonging was put up for sale, though. In 2018, Moments in Time sold his old journal for $54,000. It contained Drake's version of The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Ten Crack Commandments" titled "10 Mack Commandments."
Nate D. Sanders Auctions also had his handwritten "Room for Improvement" lyrics.
Previously, Moments in Time sold Tupac Shakur's love letter in high school and his bullet-dented pendant.
Drake Makes Headlines Due to NBA-Related Posts
In other news, the rapper made headlines when he watched the Tuesday game between L.A. Clippers and Toronto Raptors. Bleacher Report uploaded a video of Drake and Kawhi Leonard taken after the Clippers' win.
The winning team uploaded photos of the duo and wrote "Kawhi and Norm with a fan." While the line has always been a joke on the internet, Drake refused to let it go and commented that the team should instead "win a ring." L.A. Clippers have not won an NBA title yet in its five decades run.

Meanwhile, he shrugged off the bad vibes as he embraced his five-year-old son Adonis during the NBA game. The kid's mother, Sophie Brussaux, also attended the game but did not sit with the father and son tandem at the courtside.
A friend of the matriarch posted a photo of them enjoying the game from the court's second row, writing, "We like basketball."
