David Bowie has made quite an impact in the industry back when he was alive and he credited a legendary artist as one of his main inspirations. With that being said, he could also do his voice and the resemblance is uncanny.
According to the Society of Rock, members of The Clash: Mick Jones, Topper Headon, and Paul Simonon previously performed a holiday show on BBC 6 Music titled "This Is Radio Clash."
In the two-hour radio program, listeners were shocked as the show was able to get a greeting from Elvis Presley himself, or was it really him? (listen to the recording below)

"Hello everybody, this is David Bowie making a telephone call from the US of A," he began the message using the king of rock 'n' roll's voice.
He then proceeded to greet listeners by saying he couldn't help but remember his "British-ness" during the holiday season that's why he wanted to greet them a Merry Little Christmas and a Happy New Year.
To conclude his impeccable impersonation, the "Heroes" hitmaker said Presley's iconic line "Thank you very much."

David Bowie Considered Elvis Presley As His 'Hero'D
In a previous interview, Ziggy Stardust recalled the first time he met the legendary artist, saying he came over for a long weekend and he went straight to Madison Square Garden in New York City from the airport late at night.
At the time, he wore his iconic "clobber" with his bright red hair from his Ziggy era and everyone in the audience looked at him and he "felt like a right idiot."
"I wished I'd gone for something quiet because I must have registered with him. He was well into his set," he added. (via Showbiz Cheatsheet)
Regarding his love for Presley, Bowie considered the icon a "great hero" of his, and little did their fans know that they share the same birthday, January 8th.
Unfortunately, the king of rock 'n' roll passed away in 1977 at the age of 42 due to a heart attack which was likely because of his addiction to prescription barbiturates. (via History)
On the other hand, David Bowie passed away just two days after his birthday in 2016. He suffered from liver cancer for 18 months before his death.
