While a threesome with Mick Jagger and David Bowie might be many people's dream, this fashion designer nearly had it.
Diane von Furstenberg is telling-all in her new documentary, Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge, including the fact that she "considered" a three-way offer from the two iconic rockstars.
"Well, this is something I can tell my grandchildren about," the 77-year-old jokes in the new documentary.
While she deliberated on the offer for some time, she ultimately decided that she "just can't" So, while she did confess to them both that she "love[d] them very much, she just could not make it happen.
She goes on to reminisce on past flings, divulging the fact that she had been "with Warren Beatty and Ryan O'Neal," both on the same weekend.
"I was having a man's life in a woman's body," she spilled of her wild days.
Von Furstenberg seemingly did not specify when the offer came to her or what inspired her. More may be revealed when Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge finally premieres on Hulu on June 25.
She does reveal that the offer came to her in the '70s, when "everyone slept with everyone," looking back on her various "nonexclusive lovers" that she had for "several years," Ok Magazine says.
Jagger has yet to confirm or publicly respond to the spicy story, with Page Six revealing that his representatives have not yet responded to their request for comment. Bowie died at 69 in January of 2016 after a battle with liver cancer.
Von Furstenberg married media mogul Barry Diller in 2001, they have since been together for 23 years. Before beginning her relationship with Diller, she was married to Prince Egon von Furstenberg for three years, tying the knot in 1969 and splitting up in 1972.
Bowie's sexual escapades have long been documented in culture. His hairstylist, who gave him his iconic "Ziggy Stardust" mullet, revealed that she had been his "tour madame." She would frequently recruit girls for Bowie to meet with when he was on the road. During one encounter gone wrong, she had to "warn" the "Life On Mars" crooner after he had been alone in his hotel room with a teenager.
Throughout the '70s, Jagger was married to Bianca Jagger, his only wife. The were wed in 1971, before splitting up in 1978.
