In December, Romeo Miller and Master P had a nasty exchange about their family drama on social media, particularly about the death of Miller's sister Tytyana.
However, it seems like the father and son have no plans of starting their new year with negativity because apparently, they have reportedly already sorted it out among themselves.
Miller took to Instagram to share with his and his father's fans that he and his dad are now on good terms-the beef has been squashed!
The 33-year-old rapper shared a picture of himself with Master P. His father had his arm around his shoulder, while Miller posed with his hands together.
"In order to be used, you have to be willing to be misunderstood and humiliated sometimes," the rapper began.
He then used several stories from the Christian faith to illustrate the struggles one faces before coming to a breakthrough.
"My point, I'm willing to fall on my sword for mines! It was never about parent vs child, or this false narrative, or that, it was about doing whatever had to be done for the growth of my family," he continued.
The "Get Low Wit It" rapper revealed that on New Year's Eve, he and Master P decided to come together and start anew.
"Today, December 31st, me and my father [Master P] had very hard conversations; ironically outside in the rain, but in order for any generation to grow, that communication has to be had and reciprocated on both sides.
"The good, the bad, and the ugly. No matter the journey ahead, our family can truly begin to heal and I believe many others will use our story as an example to learn from. What a way to close the year!"
The Riff
According to reports, the pair's beef stems back to Miller calling Master P a hypocrite, as the latter posted about the recent death of DJ Stephen "tWitch" Boss, but allegedly neglected Tytyana's mental health. She died in early 2022 because of a drug overdose.
The rapper took to Instagram and aired out his frustrations: "Today was a boiling point,
"I [saw] a man avoid his own children struggle with suicide and depression but post another man [who] passed today that he doesn't even know.
"Yall idols be lost. Better stop following the blind. Watch when it's revealed."
Master P responded to Miller's claims and fired back: "How do they think they got to where they are without their parents making sacrifices for them?
"Mental illness is real and so many families are tragically affected by it especially when there is added trauma like death of a loved on."
Master P added: "Son, I love you. Stop trying to get people to feel sorry for you. And let's come up with a solution [...] No family is perfect but together with God, we can heal and get through this."
Well, it seems like Miller listened to his father's please online and decided to reconcile before the new year ushered in.
