Over the weekend, Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons wiped their Instagram accounts clean in preparation for their big New Year announcement: they're officially dating!
The CMG rap mogul and businesswoman shared a series of pictures of themselves looking stunning, decked in all black posing next to and inside a Rolls-Royce.
In Simmons, post, she simply wrote "you are all I need and more," with a red heart, while Gotti shared a video of the "Growing Up Hip Hop" actress, with the caption: "ain loss a crush since high school," with a black heart.
After the series of pictures the pair unveiled on Instagram, Simmons couldn't stop there. She took once again on the picture-sharing app and shared an Instagram Story that simply read: "Happier than I ever been."
Happily Ever After
The announcement of the new couple comes after months of being spotted together and some videos and pictures of them occasionally being shared on Instagram.
However, despite the soft launch pictures and videos, both of them kept much to themselves, making sure that they weren't spotted publicly by people or the media.
To keep the mystery going, they also never confirmed their romance-until now.
Gotti's fans are clearly ecstatic, after all, he has had a major crush on Simmons for quite some time now.
His Instagram post of themselves with the crush caption made fans swoon and cheer him on because what Gotti is referring to is his long-time crush on Simmons, which stems back to 2015 when he declared his love for her in his song "Down in the DM."
He rapped: "And I just followed Angela (Simmons) / Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons / They like, 'Damn Gotti, you bold' / Fuck it, I'm gon' let the world know (goals)."
According to Complex, "Down in the DMs" isn't the only song Gotti declared his love for his now-girlfriend, he also gave her a shout-out on "Save It For Me," released in 2017.
"Angela Simmons and Yo Gotti have made it Instagram Official. We love a manifestation success story!" a fan wrote on Twitter.
"Yo Gotti really manifested Angela Simmons lol."
"It went down in the DM..." another added.
"It's all about patience and timing...Congrats."
