Alex Vlasov, a former security guard for Britney Spears who claimed that her father Jamie Spears spied on her personal phone calls and text messages, is accusing him now also of abuse and manipulation of the discovery process.
According to Radar Online, Alex alleged that the subpoena Jamie sent him was intended to harass and penalize Vlasov for blowing the whistle on Jamie's wrongdoings, suspected felonies, and other misdeeds while serving as a court-appointed conservator in this matter.
In addition, he requests that the judge sanction or fine Jamie and his attorneys for $10,000 for his behavior. Dailymail.com has contacted Britney and Jamie's representatives for comment.
Per Radar Online, the motion had it that Mr. Spears and his counsel have inappropriately exploited this court to engage in a scorched earth litigation campaign against Britney Spears and now a third-party witness, Alexander Vlasov, who courageously revealed Mr. Spears's malfeasanc.
The document also highlighted the fact that Mr. Spears' goals appear to have been threefold. First is to embarrass and intimidate his daughter, Britney Spears. Second is to generate wasteful legal expenses that he apparently seeks payment for from his daughter's estate.
Last is to use this proceeding improperly to harass and punish those who led to Mr. Spears' disgraceful removal as conservator.
This is litigation retribution at the greatest level and thefore, no doubt improper.

In September 2021, a New York Times documentary stated that a security firm employed by Britney Spears' father monitored the pop star's phone conversations and text messages during the conservatorship she has been living under since 2008.
In Controlling Britney Spears, Alex, a former Black Box Security employee who said he worked with the singer's team for over nine years, alleged the company had access to Spears' phone and planted a listening device in her bedroom.
An attorney for Jamie Spears, who oversaw his daughter's conservatorship at the time, did not dispute the surveillance but stated that it was "well within the confines of the court-granted jurisdiction."
According to Vlasov, Black Box replicated the pop singer's phone on an iPad by tapping in to her iCloud account, giving them access to all of her activities and any messages she sent, including text messages and emails.
He told the filmmakers that he was ordered to encrypt parts of Spears' text messages so they could be delivered to her father, Jamie Spears, and an employee of a business management agency he had hired.
When Vlasov inquired about the surveillance, he was informed that Spears' contacts were reviewed for her own security and safety and that both the court overseeing the conservatorship and her attorney at the time were quite aware of it.
According to Vlasov, the monitoring included conversations between Spears and her attorney, Sam Ingham. Their motive for minoring was to check for negative influences and probable unlawful activities, but they would also monitor her discussions with her friends, her mother, and her attorney, Sam Ingham. If anyone should be off-limits, it should be Britney's attorney, Vlasov said.
