The lead suspect in Takeoff's murder, Patrick Xavier Clark, has been released from jail prior to his trial after posting bond release.

In a recent report from TMZ, it was revealed that Clark had posted a bond that amounted to $1,000,000. He recently walked out of the Harris County Jail in Texas last Wednesday night, Jan. 4, 2023.

Clark was the prime suspect in the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff last November 2022.

Takeoff, formally known as Kirsnick Khari Ball, was pronounced dead on arrival of emergency first responders in Houston, Texas, last Nov. 1, 2022. He was gunned down allegedly by Clark during a heated altercation that turned bloody last time.

In the past, Clark's legal camp has asked the court for a lower bond amount. Initially, the bond needed for Clark's release was around $2,000,000. It was lowered to $1,000,000 in the past few weeks. Last week, Clark's camp wanted it to be lowered by another $300,000. (via ABC 13)

Now, since Clark has already posted bond for release for $1,000,000 - it meant that the appeal for another $300,000 reduction was denied.

According to the outlet, the initial $2M bond was dropped by the court after Clark's lawyers argued that it was "excessive," and, therefore, it is "unconstitutional." They cited a Texas law that requires that bonds should not be used to hold defendants, financially speaking, but ensure their return to court.

They also reported that he would be submitting to house arrest - severing any contact with people related to the case. This includes Takeoff's family, and J Prince, among many others. He is also barred from possessing deadly weapons. He should also wear a GPS monitor for law enforcement tracking.

According to HiphopDX, Takeoff's alleged murderer, Patrick Xavier Clark, deliberately attempted to flee the country after allegedly murdering the Migos rapper.

He was even accused of using fake tickets to secure a passport and doing searches - double checking if he was already accused of the death of Takeoff, Billboard reports.

The judge declared that he would be making a deep dive into Clark and his family's financial records after he was caught saying that the initial $2M was "doable." A private investigator was even hired ti investigate Clark at a lower rate.
