Boosie Badazz asked his fans for prayers amid his health battle.

On Instagram, Boosie Badazz posted an update about his health status as he fights against diabetes. The rapper has been enduring the dreaded illness since he was 19.

"This diabetes shit is hard. I've been fighting this sickness since 19 N still can't shake this shit !!" he wrote. "Woke up sick af y'all keep me n yall prayers."

The 40-year-old "One of Them Days Again" rapper has been suffering for years because of the health issue.

In 2015, the rapper was forced to end his New York City concert early after not taking his medication. At that time, he said there was a miscommunication with his luggage after one of his bags was sent to Philadelphia.

As he was not able to get a shot of insulin before performing, he vomited and rushed off the stage.

He once also suffered complications due to diabetes after he was shot in his leg. DailyRapFacts wrote on Twitter that he might have to get his leg amputated, but it did not happen at all. He underwent three surgeries and moved around in a wheelchair instead for weeks before fully recovering.

In 2020, Boosie Badazz sought help through a since-deleted Instagram post. He asked people to give him an insulin injection and told them to drop them off if they had extra doses.

One fan who drove three hours to his home to give him the medicine refused to accept his money. Instead, she won $10,000 on a scratch-off after leaving the rapper's house.

Boosie Badazz Shares Advice After Gangsta Boo's Death

Earlier this month, Boosie Badazz paid tributes to Gangsta Boo while telling drug addicts to "leave fentanyl alone."

"There's too many people dying in 2022 of fentanyl," he said. "If you're gonna be an addict, you might need to go back to crack. Crackheads live longer than anybody. You still see them around!"

Gangsta Boo died on New Year's day in Memphis, Tennessee. Fox 13 and WREG 3 Memphis confirmed her passing after Echoing Soundz shared a press release.

A news outlet claimed that she died of a potential drug-related incident, but an official report is yet to be shared. However, it cited the statements from its sources, who said Gangsta Boo and her brother overdosed a few hours after attending a local concert.

Both of them were hospitalized, but only her brother survived.
