Lady Gaga's song "Bloody Mary" from the 2011 album "Born This Way" rose to popularity in recent months after the track was used in numerous TikTok videos thanks to Jenna Ortega's viral dance in the hit Netflix series "Wednesday."
As the decade-old song amassed massive popularity amid its resurgence, many fans are rooting for Mother Monster to appear as one of the cast members of the Tim Burton-directed show.
More recently, Ortega discusses what possible character she would play if ever the pop star would be a part of the show's second season.
Walking down the red carpet of this year's Golden Globes, the 20-year-old rising star spoke to Variety about fans' requests about Lady Gaga, saying Netflix would love the idea.
The actress then shared the possible character she would play if ever she became a part of the show, saying, "If Lady Gaga were to be a part, [she and Wednesday] would have to be two monsters that understand each other." (via Billboard)
As of this writing, neither Lady Gaga nor Netflix has confirmed whether the former would be officially part of the show's second season.

Elsewhere in the interview, Ortega recalled her previous interaction with the "Millions Reasons" hitmaker, saying she worked with a hairdresser that also worked with Gaga and the person was able to request a video greeting for the actress.
"Gaga made me a sweet video. I doubt she remembers. But to see her to do that now...it's one of those moments you realize life changes really fast," she added.
Today, the actress clarified that she had "no contact" with the musician and regarding season 2, Ortega noted that she haven't seen anything and doesn't have an idea yet what would happen, but it has already been confirmed by the global streaming platform.
The reason why the Academy Award-winning actress is being linked to "Wednesday" was because of a viral TikTok craze wherein people would dance Wednesday Addam's prom dance moves to Gaga's song "Bloody Mary."
The song, which was released under the album "Born This Way" and was not dropped as a single before, amassed massive popularity to the point that it finally debuted on Billboard Hot 100 charts 12 years after its release.
The Grammy Award-winning songstress also joined the trend in recent weeks and her video amassed more than 12 million views on the social media platform.
