Days after being convicted of felony charges, an alleged mugshot of Tory Lanez is making its rounds on the Internet because it caught the attention of netizens, who are making fun of it.
According to HipHopDX, Lanez's picture was included in the latest batch of evidence in relation to the highly-controversial Megan Thee Stallion shooting lawsuit.
Netizens flocked to Twitter to talk about the alleged mugshot, which shows Lanez grinning for the camera, wearing a white turtle neck, and a pink jacket.
"Why is he smiling like that?" A Twitter user wrote.
"That Tory Lanez mug shot is funny as hell," another wrote.
These comments about the picture are definitely tamer than others. Some joked about how the rapper looks like he was posing for a yearbook photo, while others jested that the picture looks like it's a LinkedIn profile picture.
"Tory Lanez thought he was taking a yearbook pic in his mug shot."
Another added, "Tory Lanez mug shot is given senior pics."
"Somebody said Tory Lanez mug shot could be his LinkedIn profile pic and I now i can't unsee it," wrote a netizen with laughing and crying emojis.
"When the cameraman says 'tilt you head to the left a little.'"
"Tory Lanez smiling on that mug shot says so much about his mf character idgaf!" An angry netizen wrote.
Meanwhile, others put Lanez's picture side-by-side with Carlton Banks' picture, noting how the two shared the same energy and vibe.
Ironic
Some people found Lanez's expression off-putting, after all, he was found guilty of felony negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a semi-automatic firearm, and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm, reports say.
On top of that, he is facing more than 20 years in prison and even deportation, since the rapper is actually from Canada.
However, his gleeful expression in the picture might also be expected from him, since he had no reaction when the guilty verdict was announced.
Lanez was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion's foot back in 2020 after demanding that she dance for him and she refused.
The controversial lawsuit reached its conclusion just before 2023 rolled in, but it seems like Lanez isn't the one to give up, as he is already making moves to appeal.
According to HotNewHipHop, Lanez hired a new attorney to assist him in the appeal-David Kenner. He represented Snoop Dogg in his 1993 suit and Suge Knight in his '90s suit.
As of this writing, there is no new update regarding Lanez's appeal.
