"RuPaul's Drag Race" season 15 kicked off this year and it's the Emmy Award-winning show's biggest season so far. The show is expected to have more star-studded guest judges over the next few weeks and Maren Morris appeared on the most recent episode.

Upon chatting with the contestants backstage for the show's "Untucked" spin-off series, which featured drag performers behind the scenes while the judges deliberate on the main stage, Moris made a big move on behalf of the country music industry.

"Coming from country music and its relationship with LGBTQ+ members, I just want to say I'm sorry," the country star told the remaining contestants on episode 3. (via New York Post)

The singer then told the queens that she loves them because they're making her feel like a "brave voice in country music" and for inspiring her.

Prior to her appearance on the show, Moris has been known to be an ally of the LGBTQIA++ community for years as she previously spoke to GLAAD last year, saying she knew many queer people at a young age.

"My mom was really close to her uncle growing up, who sadly died in the early '90s of AIDS. It was just always a conversation in our household that we're all the same and there is no 'us' and 'you,'" she said. (via Us Weekly Magazine)

In August of 2022, the country musician came under fire from other fans after calling out Brittany Aldean, wife of singer Jason Aldean, for her seemingly offensive comments against the trans community.

Aside from Moris, other notable stars also called out Aldean like Cassadee Pope and Jonathan Van Ness from "Queer Eye."

At the time, the singer went to Fox News's "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to address the matter, but she was labeled as "lunatic country music person."

Despite the hate, the singer reclaimed the title and sold merchandise with the words "Lunatic Country Music Person" written on it.

She made the big move by donating all proceeds to the GLAAD Transgender Media Program and Trans Lifeline. Morris made a whopping $150,000 within a few days.

In other updates, "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 15 featured their biggest cast member with 16 drag queens. Over the past three episodes, two performers have already been eliminated, Irene Dubois from Seattle and Princess Poppy from San Francisco.

Next week's episode would be the Snatch Game wherein contestants would showcase their talent in impersonating other celebrities.
