Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee may have had a not-so-good relationship a few decades ago after their private video went out, but it appears that the former still loves her ex-husband as revealed in her upcoming memoir.
Sharing an excerpt of her book to People Magazine, the "Baywatch" actress revealed that her connection with the Motley Crue drummer may have been "the only time" she was ever "truly in love."
After exchanging vows in 1995, Anderson said both of them had fun in their marriage because there were "no rules." Unfortunately, their relationship started crumbling down after their private tapes were stolen from their property and sold to the public.
The actress noted that it ruined their lives, beginning with their connection, writing, "it's unforgivable that people, still to this day, think they can profit from such a terrible experience, let alone a crime." (via Billboard)
In 1998, things started to change between the two of them as Lee abused her. As detailed in her memoir, which will be released on January 31, the actress said she was holding her then-months-old baby Dylan when the drummer twisted her arm.
Further explaining what happened, Anderson wrote that Lee "ripped Brandon" off her and "threw me and Dylan into a wall."
The musician was later arrested and spent six months behind bars. Following this, the "Barb Wire" star filed for divorce.
At the time of their separation, the Canadian-American actress revealed that it was the lowest point of her life because she couldn't believe that the person whom she loved the most was capable of doing that.
"We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies," she wrote.
Despite the incident, Anderson noted that she and her ex-husband still communicate with each other every once in a while because he is the father of her children and she's "forever grateful."
In recent updates, the actress tied the knot for the fourth time last year with her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst. After Lee, she was previously married to Kid Rock and Rick Salomon.
On the other hand, Lee's current wife is comedian Brittany Furlan. Prior to her marriage to Anderson and his partner today, he was previously married to Elaine Starchuk and Heather Locklear.
Pamela Anderson's memoir, "Love, Pamela," and Netflix documentary, "Pamela, A Lovestory," will be released on January 31.
