It looks like the high-profile RICO YSL Trial of Young Thug is getting more and more complicated.

During a jury selection hearing last Jan. 20, 2023, Young Thug, while in court, was accused of dealing drugs in the middle of the session.

WSBTV's Mark Winne obtained exclusive surveillance footage showing the time that Young Thug, formally known as Jeffery Williams, received drugs from his co-defendant Kahlieff Adams in a hand-to-hand deal.

At one point in the video, Adams approached Williams and handed him what seemed to be a white packet. Turns out, Adams handed him a Percocet. Immediately after, a deputy searched Williams and found the item; he then handed over the substance shortly after.

But when Adams was searched, authorities found more Percocet in him, Marijuana, and Tobacco, enclosed in plastic and food seasonings (to conceal the pungent odor).

Meanwhile, according to WSBTV's Michael Seiden, Adams was taken to the hospital as he had ingested some of the illegal contraband to conceal it from the court.

The embattled rapper, Williams, however, maintains his innocence on the drug deal, which they were caught red-handed.

William's lawyer, Keith Adams, had this to say to WSBTV about the allegations.

"The reality is, Mr. Williams has nothing to do with what went on in the courtroom yesterday. One of the co-defendants, on his way to the restroom, attempted to pass something to Mr. Williams who immediately turned it over to the deputy," he told the outlet.

According to Williams' camp, they did not know what the item was, and it was immediately turned over to the deputy shortly after it was handed to him. They pointed out that it was the co-defendant, Adams, who had the contraband.

Because of such delay, the Prosecution filed a motion, asking the court to "make a finding of fact" that the court day was delayed because of Williams and Adams.

The issue of slipping contrabands to remaining defendants has been a recurring issue on the YSL RICO trial.

According to All Hiphop, Yak Gotti's mother was arrested earlier this week after attempting to bring rolling papers and tobacco products to her son - hidden inside a bag of clothing. Another incident was also reported, saying that one of the defendants received shoes with Marijuana hidden inside of them.
