Dolly Parton's career continue to thrive despite being in the industry for decades and it appears that she will be collaborating with more musicians on her upcoming rock album as she revealed in a recent interview.
The country legend recently appeared on "The Rachel Ray Show" to promote her limited-edition baking collection line with Duncan Hines as well as discuss new information about her new album.
Speaking about the upcoming musical project, the "I Will Always Love You" songstress revealed she's got "wonderful iconic songs" that people have loved through the years as well as big time collaborators to sing them with her.
She noted that Elton John would appear on one of the songs he wrote as well as Beatles legend Paul McCartney. Fans were then surprised when Parton opened up a potential duet with Cher.
"Hopefully we're going to have Cher... We've got all kinds of wonderful people," she added. (via People Magazine)
As of this writing, Cher has not publicly confirmed whether she'll appear on Parton's new album or not.

Dolly Parton New Album 2023
The recent news comes a few months after the country legend accepted her induction at last year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame where she debuted a new song called "Rockin'" and announced her new album.
Initially, the musician attempted to turn down the induction as she is a country artist, but she was later convinced to accept the award.
She later shared her plans about releasing a rock and roll album, saying, "So, I reached out to a lot of friends who were on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with me when we were there those few days rehearsing. So, now I'm doing an album... It's called Rock Star, and here I am at 77 going to be a rock star."
Aside from the artists mentioned above, Parton previously shared details about her upcoming project by naming some collaborators.
Speaking to The View, the country star named a few famous artists in the industry that would make appearances on her album like Stevie Nicks, Brandi Carlile, Steven Tyler, John Fogerty, Steve Perry, and Pink.
Her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, whom she co-hosted with during a New Year's Eve event, will also be on the album with the song "Wrecking Ball" that is expected to be released around midsummer/early fall.
