Fans are panicking after Brendon Urie, the vocalist of the band Panic! At The Disco, announced that they will be disbanding after almost 20 years.

The band, composed of Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brent Wilson, Jon Walker, and Dallon Weekes, was formed in 2004 at Summerlin, Las Vegas.

After countless hits and chart-topping albums, the band has decided to finally disband.

In an emotional post on Instagram, vocalist Brendon Urie announced the sad news to their millions of fans worldwide.

"Growing up in Vegas I could've never imagined where this life would take me. So many places all over the world, and all the friends we've made along the way," he wrote.

Starting out supposedly as a Blink-182 cover band, Panic! At the Disco became a large ball of sound and began making waves until they released their debut album, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," in September 2005.

"But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin. We've been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some of you may have heard.. Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon! The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting. I look forward to this next adventure," he revealed.

Urie met her wife, Sarah Orzechowski, in 2003, thanks to Hayley Williams, who reintroduced the latter to the vocalist. With the announcement that they are expecting their new child, Panic! At The Disco disbanded because Urie said that he was going to "bring the chapter of his life to an end" so that he could focus his energy on his family.

"Thank you all for your immense support over the years. I've sat here trying to come up with the perfect way to say this and I truly can't put into words how much it has meant to us. Whether you've been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you," he continued.

Meanwhile, fans have posted a tribute on social media, thanking the band for their music.

However, Urie promised to see them one last time on their upcoming tour. In February 2023, the band will resume their "Viva Las Vengeance" tour in Europe and, ultimately, in the United Kingdom.
