Where are ABBA members now?

For a decade, ABBA members - Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad - savored popularity and success through the music they created for fans. The hit supergroup, however, had to be on hiatus in 1982.

As early as 2016, ABBA hyped fans again as it revealed its plans to reunite as virtual avatars. It also confirmed its new music decades after its split.

"We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio," the quartet said in a joint statement. "So we did. And it was like time had stood still and that we only had been away on a short holiday."

ABBA released its ninth and final studio album, "Voyage," in November 2021. Despite taking a bow as a group, they reunited again in May for the premiere of their virtual concert series.

After the event, fans are now curious about where the members are.

Anni-Frid Lyngstad

ABBA's official website confirmed that Lyngstad is currently dedicating herself to "charity work."

She was initially married to Ragnar Fredriksson when she was 18. However, the two divorced before ABBA's sudden fame. This led her to open her door to fellow ABBA bandmate Benny Andersson, whom she met in 1969.

The two got engaged and married, but they called it quits, as well.

She married for the third time to Prince Henrich Ruzzo Reuss, Count of Plauen. Their daughter died in a car accident a year before her husband's death in 1999.

Benny Andersson

After ABBA's retirement, Andersson spends most of his time with the band Benny Andersson's Orkester.

Despite the group's hiatus in 1982, he still spent his time producing work in the music industry. He went on to release his first solo album in 1987.

Björn Ulvaeus

Outside ABBA, Ulvaeus started working on different musicals.

It was revealed that he worked in the staging of the musical "Mamma Mia." Amid his solo career, he hit a glitch when he and and his wife of 40 years announced their divorce.

He is now dating Christina Sas, a music manager for Universal Music Group.

Agnetha Fältskog

There is no update about Fältskog's status as of press time. But she was among the members who had been suffering from health issues due to her phobias.

For years, Fältskog's phobias continuously grabbed people's attention. Among her fears include stage fright, fear of heights, and fear of crowds and open spaces. She also has a fear of flying.

These led her to undergo therapy for years.
