Zayn Malik sent fans wild as he shared a photograph posing in front of a microphone on Thursday after it was claimed that he is working on his fourth solo album.
The former One Direction star, 30, took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photograph of himself as he appeared to be back in the music studio.
It comes after it was reported that Zayn has signed with UTA and is currently working on his fourth album. In the rare social media post, Zayn showed off his toned abs as he wore a stylish knitted jacket unbuttoned, giving a flash of his tattooed chest.
The singer, who simply goes by his first name Zayn, completed his look with black jeans and a silver chain necklace, while he styled his highlighted locks in loose curls. His post sparked speculation that he was hinting at an upcoming music release, with eager fans going wild in the comments section.
One person asked the million-dollar question of whether Zayn Malik making a comeback and many followed suit.
Some people claimed he's the king of recording music and they're ready for him to release some new music. Another manifested that 2023 will be a Z year for sure!

It comes as it was revealed that Zayn has signed with UTA for representation acvross music, film and TV and is working on his fourth solo album, according to Variety.
Zayn has not released an album for two years - since his third solo album Nobody Is Listening came out in January 2021.
Before that, his second album Icarus Falls was released in December 2018 while his debut album Mind of Mine came out back in March 2016. With around a two-year gap between each of his solo albums, fans have been hoping for a 2023 music release from the former X Factor star. Although he has not released an album in two years, Zayn released a cover of Jimi Hendrix's hit Angel in November to mark the late guitarist's birthday.
He also collaborated with Ingrid Michaelson in March 2021 as they duetted on To Begin Again. After the release of his cover of Angel, Zayn was praised by the Hendrix estate, who approved the cover in a bid to bring the hero's music to a new generation.
