While both she and Lopez posted the image to their social media accounts, Kardashian made an intriguing move when posting it to her Instagram Stories: she edited out Lopez. According to analysts however, this was in no way intended to belittle Lopez.
Due to the more limited vertical Instagram Story crop and the fact that Kardashian intended the post as a birthday homage to Oprah, the post was cropped improperly. It appears she did not even do it intentionally.
Yesterday, Oprah turned 69 years old and naturally there was a big bash to celebrate the legend. "Happy birthday, Oprah," Kardashian wrote. "Sharon Stone said it best last night toasting to you that you mean the world to the world. Happy birthday!"
Lopez uploaded the photo with Kardashian, Oprah, and herself along with the caption, "Lovely dinner last night celebrating Anastasia's 25th anniversary" Kardashian's reply on the Instagram photo Lopez posted of the trio is further evidence that she and Kardashian have no issues. On Monday morning, Kardashian also posted the whole selfie to her Instagram feed.
She wrote in post, "Celebrating@anastasiasoare's 25 year anniversary of her brand @anastasiabeverlyhills. The women who have been on this journey with you coming together to celebrate you was magical! You are the epitome of the American Dream and I couldn't be more proud of you. I look up to you, you give the best advice and hearing everyone's kind words about you just reminded me what I already knew."
In another news, one of Jennifer Lopez's fights with her husband, Ben Affleck, is reportedly making the rounds on TikTok. On TikTok, a small video of Ben Affleck, who has previously discussed his alcoholism, claiming to Jennifer Lopez that he had not been drinking while they attended a party has gone viral. In the clip, which was uploaded to the video-sharing website on Sunday, Lopez, 53, is seen with Affleck, 50, during an afterparty for the January 18 Hollywood premiere of her new film Shotgun Wedding.
As "Let's Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez plays in the background, Lopez is seen clutching a wine glass while Affleck exclaims, "I didn't drink anything, OK?" Lopez is then seen lifting the glass and making eye contact with Affleck as she samples the drink carefully before placing it down, while her husband yells "Jen!" In the hours since it was uploaded to TikTok, the video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times and has ignited a dispute among viewers.
A number of TikTok users criticized Lopez, claiming she was unsupportive of Affleck by consuming alcohol. Others stated that Lopez was merely testing the alcohol content of the beverage by tasting it. Affleck, who has discussed his alcoholism, has been to treatment multiple times. Newsweek has reached out to Affleck and Lopez's agents for comment. Affleck entered rehab for alcoholism for the last time in August 2018, after his ex-wife Jennifer Garner orchestrated an intervention.
Photos showed the two of them on their way to a Malibu, California rehab center.
