Several well-known people attended the Grammy Awards 2023 on Sunday, including Harry Styles and Beyonce.
However, most of its viewers were disappointed that K-Pop phenomenon BTS was not present at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
The disappointment further increased when the "Butter" song writers, who were up for "Best Pop Duo Group Performance" and "Best Music Video" awards, were again passed over and failed to win a Grammy for the third time.
Taylor Swift's song "All Too Well: The Short Film" won "Best Music Video," while Sam Smith and Kim Petras' song "Unholy" won "Best Pop Duo Group Performance."
It's not the first time that BTS has received nominations in many categories; in 2021, they were also considered for awards for "Dynamite" and "Butter" in that year.
According to Yahoo, they were defeated by the songs "Kiss Me More" by Doja Cat and SZA and "Rain On Me" by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.
After last year's loss, RM, a member of BTS, stated that they were aware of the controversy surrounding their Grammy nominations and team, but he encouraged, "Why give a s-t about it?"
"Hating is their freedom, and they have their right to hate, but if it was me, I'd rather just talk with my friends in some cafe and forget about it - rather than tweeting about it or some interview. I wouldn't do that because I'm a grown-up."
Meanwhile, the setback infuriated BTS supporters.
Some people go so far as to claim that the Recording Academy international superstars to increase their ratings.
"Yeah, I got snubbed again, but BTS is more than a silly Grammy."
"Grammy (scammy), don't deserve THE BTS," remarked another.

Others saw it as a disgrace that they are still not honored by one of the most prominent music awards shows.
They said, "Grammy, you're always being harsh to BTS and nominated them to increase viewer attention, but truly you don't deserve BTS."
"Our guys rule hearts not corrupt trophies. Their presence and efforts are more significant and pure than your trophy."
Seven members of BTS, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, have admitted that they are taking an indefinite sabbatical from the group due to their military service and solo business commitments.
