One Direction may have been disbanded for years but it appears that the former bandmates still love each other as two of its members recently congratulated Harry Styles for winning big at this year's Grammy Awards, including Liam Payne who previously claimed he "outsold" his good pal.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the "Strip That Down" hitmaker shared a black-and-white photo of the "As It Was" singer while receiving his award over the weekend.
In the caption, the musician wrote, "Harry you deserve every millisecond of that moment looking down smiling at the trophy you've earned. God bless you brother congratulations."
As of this writing, the post garnered more than two million likes and thousands of comments, mostly from fans who were happy to see Payne acknowledging his former bandmate, with one user writing, "the directioner in me is so happy rn."
"Yesterday I cried and now too? You are the most beautiful thing in this life," one wrote, while another one expressed, "1D supporting each other is the only thing keeping me sane rn."
According to Billboard, Styles won the biggest award of the evening, the Album of the Year Award for his record "Harry's House," he also won Best Pop Vocal Album for the same project. During the ceremony, the singer performed his smash hit "As It Was."

Aside from Liam Payne, Horan also took the opportunity to greet his good pal by sharing a photo on his Instagram stories of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, showing Styles receiving the award.
In the caption, he wrote, "very proud @harrystyles" along with a heart emoji.
Two other members of One Direction, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik have yet to congratulate nor react to Harry Styles' recent win.
The recent greeting comes more than half a year after Payne appeared on the controversial podcast "Impaulsive" hosted by Logan Paul where he made comments that enraged fans.(via HITC)
In early reports, the musician said his debut song "Strip That Down," in collaboration with Quavo, hit a billion streams and he thinks he "outsold everybody in the band."
One Direction has been disbanded since 2016. Zayn Malik was the first member to leave, saying he wanted to be able to "relax and have some private time" outside of his fame. Since then, the remaining members went on to pursue individual careers in the music industry.
