*NSYNC's Lance Bass is starting his very own podcast, where he will dish out all the behind-the-scenes secrets that happened during the boyband's shortlived career.

During his interview with Billboard, the 43-year-old revealed that he has not lost all hope in an NSYNC comeback, rather he is hopeful that it might happen soon.

"Never say never," Bass said. "I mean, who knew we were going to be doing Coachella a few years ago? I think it just has to be the right time; we all have to be inspired [at] the moment."

Formed in 1995, the five-membered group, which consisted of Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass, was one of the biggest boy bands in America and all over the world.

They went on an indefinite hiatus in 2002, but have not made music as a group since; this sudden decision took fans by surprise, as they did not have the chance to properly bid the group farewell.

"But I do think the world needs something again from *NSYNC," he continued. "I always feel bad that there was no ending, because we didn't have a final show, we didn't have a final tour, because we didn't know it was the final days.

"I think we owe it to the fans to give them something at some point. I just hope it's before I'm 80 years old."

This isn't the first time rumors of NSYNC coming back for a reunion has circulated.

According to a report back in 2022, fans speculated that the group might be having a reunion after Chavez tagged the members in a cryptic video.

However, despite the rumors, the reunion did not happen, which only left fans crestfallen and disappointed.

Lance Bass' Unveils The Truth

Aside from hinting at the possibility of an NSYNC reunion, Bass also talked about his new upcoming podcast, "Lance Bass Presents: Frosted Tips."

He revealed that being in a boy band was actually quite restrictive on all the members, and his new podcast was a way to "tell stories [they] were never allowed to tell before."

Given that their fanbase mostly consisted of young girls and teenagers, NSYNC probably had to hold back on certain activities and language.

"We had to keep it very PG back in the day," Bass explained. "And there was a lot of stuff going down behind the curtain. There's definitely a lot of secrets being told. It's a really great look at the music industry, especially in that era.

"You know, how everything went down, what we all experienced. There's so many similarities. A lot of the issues we were dealing with at the time were kept out of public view because we didn't want the fans to know."
