Lea Michele is enjoying her success in the Broadway production of "Funny Girl," but that doesn't mean she doesn't reflect on her development and the turmoil that took place on the "Glee" set.
The Bronx, New York native, 36, talked about her experience in 2020 to Interview magazine after some of her "Glee" co-stars said she made their life on the set miserable.
She claimed to have spent the last two years "sitting back" and "reflecting."
Lea apparently contacted them personally.
Co-star Samantha Marie Ware said that the "Run To You" singer made her experience on the show "a living hell," and other cast members agreed with her. On social media, Heather Morris, a coworker from "Glee," said that Lea was rude.
After Samantha's remarks, Lea at the moment apologized in front of everyone.
In the magazine, the singer said, "At the end of the day, what matters the most is how you make people feel."
The mom-of-one said, "You have to put aside your feelings. The conversations that I've had behind the scenes with some people were incredibly healing and very eye-opening for me."
Lea, who has been in the indstry for a while, said she never places the blame for anything on anybody else, especially after what she has gone through.
"But you also can't ignore those experiences or deny them. They are a part of the patchwork of my life."
