Rihanna is finally returning to music, and it's all thanks to one person.
It's been years since the Barbadian singer released music, performed, and headlined a massive event.
Despite being an accomplished singer and performer, the 34-year-old singer admitted that it took her some time to get used to getting back onstage and putting together a show.
"When I first got the call to do it again this year, I was like, [hisses] 'You sure?' I'm three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this," Rihanna revealed.
However, although there were challenges and roadblock she had to face as she prepared for one of the most prominent music stages in history, she reflected on what really made her do it.
"But when you become a mom, there's something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world."
"The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was because I haven't been on stage in seven years, there's something exhilarating about the challenge of it all ... It's important for my son to see that," she added.

Motherhood
Since her last stage performance, Rihanna has changed tremendously both mentally and physically.
She welcomed her son with A$AP Rocky back in May, reports say, and that alone has drastically changed her and her life.
She assured everyone that she is very excited for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, but she also notes that working with a baby makes it all more challenging.
It's very different. The balance is almost impossible because no matter how you look at it, work is always something that's going to rob you of time with your child," she explained. "That's the currency now, that's where it goes. The magnitude of how much it weighs."
On top of that, Rihanna has to prepare a fantastic show. She has to give her all and make sure that her sacrifice of not being with her son is worth it.
However, Rihanna made sure of that, "It's gonna be a celebration of my catalog in the best way that we could have put it together.
"You're trying to cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes ... but I think we did a pretty good job of narrowing it down."
