It seems like not everyone was enthused about the upcoming Rihanna Super Bowl performance, as a number of the country's citizens are echoing one influential person's thoughts about her.
Newsweek reports that former US President Donald Trump, along with other republicans, were voicing out their frustrations and calling for the removal of Rihanna from the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson made his anger felt by the NFL after arguing that Rihanna should be removed from being a Super Bowl performer for previously tweeting images of her spray painting a Cadillac with the words "F---k Trump" on it.
"Rihanna spray painted "F*** Donald Trump" on a car at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. She's made a career of spewing degenerate filth while badmouthing America every chance she gets. Why is the NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna SHOULD NOT be the halftime performer!!" Jackson posted.
The post, shared by Jackson on Truth Social, reached Trump, and he had this to say:
"Without her "Stylist" she'd be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!" he said in a post.

The tweet the two were referring to was the one that Rihanna posted back then in 2020, months before the 2020 Presidential Elections which Donald Trump famously lost his reelection campaign to President Joe Biden.
Meanwhile, detractors of Trump and Jackson have called them out for their comments against Rihanna, who will be performing on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at The State Farm in Glendale, Arizona.
"I guess you'll just have to deal with her expressing her freedom of speech," someone shared.
"You were also the personal doctor to the only insurrectionist President in American history. Are you proud about that? lol," another asked.
"On today's episode of "Ronny De Drunk." Time to log off, Ronny. Rihanna is far above your pay grade," a fan said.
A litany of memes and jokes were also posted in response to the unpopular reaction towards the upcoming Rihanna Super Bowl performance.
Rihanna is staging her huge comeback to music at the Apple Music NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. She is expected to perform her timeless hits like "Pon De Replay," "Please Don't Stop The Music," "Work," "California King Bed," "S&M," and even "Diamonds," among many others.
