[Update: Rihanna's SuperBowl Halftime Performance is a WRAP]

No New Music Updates, folks.

As it is quite the norm with Super Bowl performances, it's finished before it's truly began. A brief overview of some of her best hits, albeit with some debatable omissions (it was never going to be comprehensive). It is exciting to see her back, however new music does not appear to be part of the return at this time. SAD.

[Update: Jay-Z Did NOT Join Rihanna Onstage]

After a dancer offers her the chance to redo her makeup (a moment that feels like an instant meme), the scene shifts to "All of the Lights" and a glance back at the increasingly stunning production.

The next on list is Run This Town, and suddenly a band appears behind her. Is a special guest soon to arrive?

And...Nope.

Instead, She performed "Umbrella." Sadly, Jay Z did not join her onstage, despite his presence.

Suddenly, there are fireworks rather than rain in the sky, and we are quickly moving on to "Diamonds."

The audience has transformed into a sea of diamonds, or lights, and Rihanna's moving platform has been hoisted off the ground once more.

IMPRESSIVE!!!!

[Update: Rihanna Performs Her Best 'Rude Boy' and 'Wild Thoughts' Live Yet]

Rihanna performed "Rude Boy" like we never seen her did before. She was completely in control of her large assembly of dancers and with suggestive moves that might shock some of the easily offended conservative viewers, of course. But that just makes it soooo good!

Next is "Wild Thoughts," followed by an amazing aerial view of her dancers performing the splits inverted. Her dancers continue to demonstrate moves requiring terrifying flexibility for the following song. Rihanna may not be following them precisely but girl, is she's giving it her all.

[Update: RIHANNA IS HERE!]

Rihanna has arrived after what felt like an endless first half (although the commercials were entertaining)! Abandoning the absurdly well-paid kicking and groaning, fans now get to witness the "main event," the musician's first live performance in five years. It begins with the star already standing, a non-dramatic fake-out entrance, before the camera pans back to reveal her on a FLOATING PLATFORM surrounded by other floating platforms containing dancers.

First song is "Bitch, Better Have My Money," performed by a performer who has complete and exhilarating stadium ownership.

She swiftly transitions to a number of her upbeat club favorites, including "Where Have You Been," "Only Girl in the World," and of course, "We Found Love." This song, arguably her best, transforms the stadium into a dance floor with her backup dancers in perfect shape. This is a rather undeniable moment of elation!!

[Updates as of 8:00PM]

Celebrities are obviously just waiting for Rihanna to perform while the game goes on. Some of them found the time to edit photos on their phone.

Amy Schumer uses her Google Pixel 7 smartphone to remove all of her exes from old images. Doja Cat, basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, and a number of non-celebrities also participate in the digital memory-revision game by correcting lousy fashion, poor framing, and fuzzy photographs.

Meanwhile, Asked by Uber Eats to compose "One Hit for Uber One," Diddy overcomes his aversion to jingles and auditions versions of This is How We Do It, I Love You Always Forever, What Does the Fox Say?, and What is Love? for food delivery.

Another interesting ad: General Motors has reportedly formed a partnership with Netflix to promote electric vehicles by include them in more episodes. Will Ferrell tests the notion with many concepts, including a Walking Dead-like zombie show, Bridgerton, Squid Game, and Stranger Things.

Alicia Silverstone dons the famed checkered yellow outfit, drops a "as if!" and reunites with costar Elisa Donovan for a Clueless reunion in the name of e-commerce company Rakuten.

Kevin Hart already made the show more interesting by screaming out DraftKings' free bet promotion by disrupting a star-studded viewing party and mashing together emotions with the names of Big Papi, Ludacris, Tony Hawk and others.

The tenth Fast and Furious film (eleventh if we include spin-off Hobbs and Shaw) is also the sixth most costly film ever made, with a reported budget of $340 million. Not bad, considering the series was once thought to be dead in the water. Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, and Rita Moreno will join returning cast members like as Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and Cardi B in the tenth installment, which will also be the first installment to incorporate electric cars. Super Bowl 2023 treats fans to a first look to this highly-anticipated film:

As of now, it is already known that Guardians of the Galaxy remains one of the Marvel properties that still piques the interest of individuals who are generally uninterested in Marvel movies.

Marvel surprised fans by releasing a trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3." Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, and Vin Diesel return for one final journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe's cosmos. Unsurprisingly, the trailer highlights Cooper's Rocket Raccoon. James Gunn has never attempted to conceal the fact that the third and last film in the franchise focuses on Rocket.

Meanwhile, a new teaser for the upcoming Transformers film suggests that the next installment will be similar to Bumblebee, the low-grossing spin-off that eventually found a following. It stars Anthony Ramos in what appears to be a more contained character-driven drama, which is not a terrible thing considering the franchise's worst moments.

Earlier on, After Ralph's rendition of the Black national anthem, Babyface (aka Kenneth Edmonds) performed America the Beautiful. Then, Chris Stapleton, sporting sunglasses and a solitary electric guitar, offered a passionate, gravelly performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner.
