Fans were raving over Rihanna's Super Bowl performance last Sunday during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Not only were they waiting for her highly-anticipated first live performance in years, but also for a Rihanna new album that has been overdue for years already.

Rihanna's new song came out last year "Lift Me Up," which was part of the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" official soundtrack. The song was nominated for a Golden Globe and is now also in the running for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

In the past few weeks, a new Rihanna album coming out after the Super Bowl Performance has been rumored all over social media, and even an upcoming World Tour has been teased.

Rihanna New Album: Release Date Not Announced Yet

According to The Sun, Rihanna is set to reveal something huge after his Super Bowl performance about her new album. However, the only huge revelation she has unveiled is her pregnancy for her second child.

Speaking more about her upcoming new album, Rihanna had a quick chat with "Good Morning America" host Michael Strahan days before her actual performance.

Asking for Rihanna's New album, Strahan echoes the sentiments of millions of Rihanna fans worldwide on wanting "more."

"They are waiting. I'm excited to actually put new music out, but I don't have any updates for you on that yet," she told Strahan.

Meanwhile, in an Apple Music interview, Rihanna's New album has also been a talking point.

"I'm feeling open to exploring, discovering, creating things that are new, things that are different, things that are off, weird, might not ever make sense to my fans, the people that know the music I've put out. I just want to play. I want to have fun with the music," she explained of her upcoming new album.

Rihanna Super Bowl Performance

The last time Rihanna released an album was in 2017 - "Anti" - which birthed the songs "Work," "Love on the Brain," "Kiss it Better," "Needed Me," "Higher," and "Consideration."

The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

"Work," was one of the many songs she performed at the recently-concluded Super Bowl Halftime Performance. She also performed songs like "B--- Better Have My Money," "Where Have You Been?" "Only Girl in the World," "We Found Love," "Rude Boy," "Wild Thoughts," "Pour It Up," "All of the Lights," "Run This Town," "Umbrella," and "Diamonds."

Rihanna's Super Bowl Performance was dubbed the "most technically advanced Super Bowl halftime show that's ever been done," because of the amount of technology used to move her on the platforms.

Meanwhile, comments on Rihanna's Super Bowl Performance were polarizing, with many saying that it was underwhelming because of the lack of her other popular songs, while others say that the spectacle and performance were already grand considering her pregnancy.
