This is not a drill! Two of the most iconic English music acts—Noel Gallagher and Pet Shop Boys—are collaborating with each other for a remix track; when is it coming out?
According to NME, the English duo recently spoke to Cambridge University students for a talk and they confirmed that they will appear on the former Oasis member's upcoming album with his current band, High Flying Birds.
"We have just remixed Noel Gallagher. All collaborations are interesting," Neil Tennant said. However, the two have yet to reveal the title of the track.
He then gave a few words of wisdom about collaborating with others, explaining that he and his musical partner Chris Lowe's goal with teaming up with other artists is to work with someone that would make them sound better.
"I would like more good singers to sing more of our songs, as I think they have great potential," the singer continued, adding that as people get older, they learn how music works because, during the early days of their careers, they were also clueless.
Regarding future releases, the Pet Shop Boys noted that they would love to work with other musicians in the future as well and they won't say no if someone offers them to collab.
"Ed Sheeran might suddenly come up with something. Like, if he approached us about it and had something in mind that might work," he added.

Noel Gallagher, Pet Shop Boys Upcoming Projects, Tour
The duo's remix track will be a part of Noel Gallagher's upcoming album "Council Skies" which he produced along with his band, the High Flying Birds. The record will be available for purchase and streaming starting on June 2.
Not much information was revealed about the record, but it was previously noted that the deluxe edition will feature remixes, live recordings, and more exclusive content.
On the other hand, the Pet Shop Boys also has a new project coming out in April, an EP titled "Lost" which will feature four songs that they haven't released publicly in the past.
The recent news comes after Noel Gallagher announced that he would be returning to North America after four years for a tour with Garbage.
The first concert, which will take place at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington, on June 2, would coincide with "Council Skies'" release date.
