In celebration of Valentine's Day, Cara Delevingne has discussed her relationship with singer and lover Minke.

The British supermodel discussed her "low-key" plans for the annual holiday, which included celebrating "Galentine's Day" and hanging out with her dogs, on The Kelly Clarkson Show on 14 February.

"It all depends on what I'm doing. The 30-year-old actor told host Kelly Clarkson that he occasionally celebrates Galentine's Day, the day before Valentine's Day when women honor their female connections.

She added, "I'll probably be spending it at home with my dogs and my girlfriend. Very low-key." Clarkson was wondering as to whether Delevingne had a "specific song" that puts her in a romantic, Valentine's Day vibe, despite the fact that she plans to have a relaxing holiday.

"There's an amazing song. It's like a baby-making song," Delevingne jokingly said, before revealing her favourite song is "Poetry: How Does It Feel Now???" by Akua Naru. "Listen to it. Babies will be made."

As her go-to breakup song, Delevingne chose Alanis Morrissette's "You Oughta Know."

In June 2022, Delevingne was caught kissing British musician Minke, whose actual name is Leah Mason, while on vacation in Portofino, Italy. This led to rumors that the two were dating. Before deciding to reinvent herself, Mason, age 31, was initially signed to a record label in Nashville, where she performed the blues under her own name.

In a 2019 interview with LadyGunn, she stated, "I began to feel more and more as though I was pretending." "I recall their were aging motorcycle dudes at one of my shows. I recall thinking, "This is not what I ought to be doing. This is not my exclusive objective.'"

In 2017, with the release of her hit single "Gold Angel," she changed her name from Leah Mason to Minke.

Minke loves to adopt a laid-back approach to songwriting, as opposed to producing album after album. Her most recent single, 'Bedroom,' was released in 2020, following her 2019 EP The Tearoom. Currently, Minke cites Maggie Rogers, Lana Del Rey, and Robyn as musical influences, but Elton John was her earliest inspiration. As a child, Minke's father exposed her to the songs of the Rocket Man and explained that John was a major star in the music industry.

In June of 2020, Delevingne came out as pansexual, a phrase used to describe those who are attracted to all genders beyond the binary male and female.

"The thing is with me, I change a lot. I feel different all the time. Some days, I feel more womanly. Some days, I feel more like a man," she said in an interview with Variety at the time. "I always will remain, I think, pansexual," she continued. "However one defines themselves, whether it's 'they' or 'he' or 'she,' I fall in love with the person - and that's that. I'm attracted to the person."
