Niall Horan's new album is finally coming after months of teasing.
The former One Direction star is slated to release his third studio album this year.
Horan first released an album in 2017, "Flicker," which debuted atop the Billboard 200 albums chart. His sophomore project, "Heartbreak Weather," released in 2020, was launched at No. 4 on the same genre-blending charts. Both albums opened at No. 1 on the UK Albums chart.
Speaking to his 31 million followers on Instagram, Horan shared the "The Show" album art and "The Show" album release date.
"I couldn't possibly be more happy to tell you that my new album 'The Show' will be released on June 9th. You can pre-order it now from the link in my bio," he posted along with a photo of himself in an underground window pane.
Per Horan, the album is a "piece of work" that he is "so proud of," and for him, it is time to pass it on to his millions of followers worldwide.
"Thank you so much for being there for me all this time and I can't wait to share the next couple of years of this new era with you. I've missed you all so much. It's good to be back," he shared.
The announcement came days after he announced the release of the lead single from "The Show", "Heaven." The single will be out on Feb. 17, 2023.
Horan's new album announcement also came days after his former bandmate, Harry Styles, won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for his smash album "Harry's House." Horan, in an Instagram story, congratulated Styles on his triumphant feat.
The weekend after, Styles gave a shout-out to his former One Direction mates in a speech at the BRITS Award. Styles won four out of four nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for "As It Was."
As for Horan, the coming months will be busy for him as he and Chance the Rapper join Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton on the upcoming season of "The Voice" as coaches.
Chance the Rapper and Horan will be replacing exiting coaches Camila Cabello and Gwen Stefani, respectively.
