Michael Jackson's virginity became the spotlight of one embarrassing question he received during his tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey before his death.
Thirty years ago, Jackson sat for an interview with Winfrey and received different questions about several topics. Aside from talking about his skin color, personal life, and career, he was also asked about his relationship with Brooke Shields.
The famous talk show host notably asked about the King of Pop's sex life, as well.
The interview happened in 1993. At that time, Winfrey asked the "embarrassing question" about whether the "Smooth Criminal" singer was still a virgin.
In his disbelief, Jackson put his head in his hands and asked the host how she could ask him such a question. While Winfrey told him she just wanted to know about it, Jackson repeatedly said he was a gentleman.
Still, she continuously tried to make him speak about it, leading the late singer to cut her sentence and say, "It's something that's private. I mean, it shouldn't be spoken about openly. You can call me old-fashioned if you want but, you know, it's very personal."
Jackson said he felt embarrassed; thus, he could not answer the question.
Oprah Winfrey Opened Up About Interview With Michael Jackson
Despite the infamous interaction, Winfrey once broke her silence regarding the interview's issue and recalled how likeable he was at that time.
She added that she thought she could be his friend after the interview because of his honesty. She also got the chance to learn his famous moonwalk dance move during the interview.

"The moonwalk came from these beautiful black kids who live in the ghettos in the inner cities, who are brilliant. They just have that natural talent for dancing any of the new, hot dances. They come up with these dances," he explained. "All I did was enhance the dance."
Winfrey, however, recalled how Jackson's eyes shifted when she asked him about his father and whether he was beaten by him. For the late King of Pop, people called his father's ways a strict disciplinarian.
Meanwhile, Joe Jackson dismissed the claims that he ever beat his son.
