One week after announcing her pregnancy on the greatest stage in the world, Rihanna is celebrating her 35th birthday.
The pregnant mother received a 'bada*s birthday' shout out from her lingerie business, SAVAGE X FENTY BY RIHANNA, which presented an Instagram 'Rihcap' of her most successful year to date.
Together with the text, the brand published an edgy racing car-themed photograph of its fearless boss wearing a checkered flag cloak, sunglasses, and bespoke lingerie.
"Why pick a lane when u control the whole damn road? Wishin' a bada*s birthday to the Bad Gal herself, @badgalriri,' the Instagram caption read. 'Although this past year *flew* by, there were no days off. Let's Rihcap,' it continued and added a list of the many accomplishments the star checked off during her 34th year. Those included: Golden Globe, Academy Award, NAACP Image Award (+ more) noms for "Lift Me Up", #SAVAGEXFENTYSHOW VOL. 4 and #SavageXGameDay + Halftime Show (& surprise guest [baby emoji] #2)
The "surprise guest" was, of course, Rihanna's unanticipated pregnancy announcement during the Super Bowl halftime show last week. The highly anticipated performance was the singer's first in seven years.
The singer claimed that she forgot her own birthday since she was so focused on preparing for the upcoming performance.
She has been so preoccupied with concert preparations that she had forgotten about the milestone. 35 is a great age to be in!
Rihanna will lead the halftime show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in what is predicted to be an epic performance following Rihanna's nearly decade-long absence from live performances. "Sunday, this is it. I've been so focused on the Super Bowl that I completely forgot that my birthday is approaching," she said in an interview with Apple Music that was released on Friday (10 February).
She said, "I completely forgot about Valentine's Day."
Since 2020, the "Umbrella" singer has been dating the rapper A$AP Rocky. A boy was delivered to the couple in May of 2022. This Tuesday (14 February) will mark the couple's first Valentine's Day as parents. Rihanna admitted in another section of the conversation that she tried to distill her whole 17-year discography into 13 minutes. Yet, the birthday girl pulled it off! "
