Jessie J has been over the moon since announcing her pregnancy and it appears that the pop star is treating her body well as she stopped a certain diet and then eventually gave in to her cravings.
According to Billboard, the "Laserlight" songstress has been a vegan for years now because she previously revealed that the diet had helped her health woes like her chronic pain due to problems in conceiving a baby. However, the pop star made a big switch amid her pregnancy.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the singer told her millions of followers that she was "giving her body what it craves" and decided to eat meat at the famous Joyces Jerk Joint Caribbean restaurant in the United Kingdom.
Despite having meat for the first time in years, Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, noted that she still follows a vegan diet most of the time.
In a previous interview with Plant Based News, the musician started changing her diet after consulting with medical professionals who told her that it's not possible for her to have biological children.
The first thing she did was cut down the sugar from her diet in an attempt to stop bacteria from building up in her body. Once she has done it, she felt good as it helped her mood and sleeping patterns.
Following this, the musician decided to remove meat from her daily meals, but it took her a year to be a full-on vegan.

More than a month ago, Jessie J shared the exciting news with her fans, saying she's finally pregnant almost two years after suffering from a miscarriage and health issues.
The "Thunder" hitmaker shared a video on her official Instagram account, showing a positive pregnancy test. Throughout the clip, the song "Sunflower" plays in the background while featuring several montages of her journey.
"Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked," she wrote in the caption.
The pregnancy comes two years after the pop star shared a devastating announcement to her followers, saying she lost her baby ahead of a gig in Los Angeles.
Jessie J explained doctors had told her during her third scan that the baby didn't have a heartbeat anymore.
At first, the British musician was worried about how she would break the news to her supporters as she had an upcoming concert, but she became more worried about addressing the matter.
The pop star finally had the courage and shared it on social media, she also went on to perform as a tribute to her unborn baby.
