This is not a drill! Brighton Pride will return this year and its lineup is bigger than ever! Check out below which artists will perform at the highly-anticipated event.

According to NME, the Black Eyed Peas will be performing on August 6, Saturday, while popular British group, Steps will take the stage the next day.

The event comes after last year's 30th anniversary with a staggering lineup featuring Christina Aguilera and Paloma Faith.

The reason why organizers chose the group as their headliner for this year is that they are "staunch allies of the LGBTQ+ community" and have been successful in the United Kingdom charts throughout their careers.

Check out the complete lineup for this year's Brighton Pride below:

- Zara Larsson

- Melanie C

- Jax Jones

- B*Witched

- Dylan

- Louise

- The Vivienne from 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK'

- Harley Moon Kemp

- Bellah Mae

The outlet noted that organizers will announce more performers in the coming weeks.

Brighton Pride Origin

The pride celebration has been around for many years since they began holding the event in 1972. It was founded and organized by a community that aims to promote equality and diversity throughout the city of Brighton and Hove in England.

Held every summer of the year, the event is highly-anticipated because aside from performances, there will also be an event in Preston Park, a parade, gay village parties, dog show, film festival, and many more.

In estimation, there are over 500,000 attendees each year, and it is one of the main reasons why the city had boosted its economy for tourism. (via The Guardian)

Black Eyed Peas Updates

Since the Black Eyed Peas will headline this year's event, many fans are wondering if they would perform new material for their set.

It appears that new music is coming soon as explained by Will.i.am in a previous interview, saying he's working on a new album after seven years.

"After a seven years break with the Black Eyed Peas, we could have disappeared and never reached that success again. But we worked hard, tried to reinvent ourselves, teamed up with Latin artists and pushed it out of our comfort zone," he told the outlet.
