BLACKPINK fans will meet their beloved KPOP idol, Jisoo, in a completely new light.

According to reports, BLACKPINK's resident vocalist and visual will be making her solo debut on Mar. 31.

This announcement comes after a mysterious post was uploaded to the KPOP group's account, and it simply read: "Coming Soon."

It is the first of many teasers lined up for this highly anticipated music release from the BLACKPINK star, after all, she is the last in the group to launch her solo music career.

The poster shows a field with a mysterious hint: a red piece of clothing. No one is certain whether the clothing is a dress or a shirt, but fans are already hyped and eager to see what will be revealed in the next teaser.

They immediately took to Twitter to gush about it: "HAPPINESS INDEX JUST WENT 103%. SOLOIST JISOO IS COMING."

"Holy h**l this can't be real," another fan wrote.

"JISOO IS COMING!!" Another added.

What Took So Long?

It's been years since BLACKPINK debuted as a group, which also led to massive success and individual music releases over the years.

According to Dazed Digital, Jennie was the first to debut her solo music in 2018, with the release of her single "Solo."

She was followed by Rose and Lisa who released "R" and "LALISA" respectively.

Although many fans have been hoping for Jisoo to release her music for some time now, the star admitted that she was hesitant for various reasons.

"I'm not sure how much I want to go solo yet," she explained. "The music I listen to, the music I can do, and the music I want to do - what should I choose?"

"I love songs with lots of instruments. I love different bands and rock music. What do people want from me?

"There's a chaos of conflicting questions. So I'm still tilting my head in confusion. I'm not sure what will happen with my solo plans this year."

However, it seems like Jisoo has gotten over the conflict and chaos and managed to settle what music she's going to put out, once and for all.

According to reports, aside from her booming music career, Jisoo has kept herself busy with other projects.

She has worked on a K-Drama series titled "Snowdrop" as well as her YouTube channel.

On top of that, she has been pretty occupied with her modeling and brand ambassadress duties for Dior.
