According to People Magazine, the legendary musicians announced that they will be touring across North America this summer for an event called "Sing a Song All Night Long Tour."
Taking to his official social media accounts, the 73-year-old artist shared a video where he announced the series of concerts, saying his upcoming one is not just any show he did in the past.
'"I've been trying to do for years, and now it's going to actually happen... Lionel Richie, Earth, Wind & Fire, together on the same stage and I'm inviting you to the party... This is the place you need to be," he added.
Produced by Live Nation, the upcoming shows will begin at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, before traveling to cities across the United States and Canada.
For fans who are interested in seeing the two legendary music acts perform together, Citi cardmembers will get the chance to sign up for a presale starting on March 7 at 10 a.m. local until March 12 at 10 p.m. local.

Aside from touring together, the "American Idol" judge will also have a solo tour across Europe in June and July. On the other hand, Earth, Wind & Fire will also have shows on the same months.
