Matthew Lawrence and TLC's Chilli have been making headlines over the past few months as they have been spotted being sweet to one another several times. More recently, the actor spoke out about their relationship and it appears that they're taking their connection to a whole new level.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the "Boy Meets World" alum said it's his game plan to have a baby with the R&B legend and they're trying to do it in the present.

Chilli has yet to speak out on the baby statement, but the actor opened up about their new relationship saying his life is in "complete bloom" at the moment because he gets the opportunity to spend time with "an amazing woman" like the musician.

"I've never gotten to be able to experience that kind of a relationship before ... She's a really, really special human being. I wish more people on the planet were like her. We'd be much better off," he added. (via Billboard)

The recent news comes two months after Chilli's representative confirmed to the outlet that she and the actor had been dating after he shared a video lipsyncing to a-ha's "Take On Me" over the holidays. (via People Magazine)

Lawrence was previously married to Cheryl Burke for three years, but they separated last year. Elsewhere in the conversation, the actor opened up about the breakup, saying it tested him, but he learned a lot of things about himself and he's grateful for the opportunity to grow as an individual.

On the other hand, the 52-year-old star, whose real name is Rozonda Ocielian Thomas, was previously linked to celebrities like Nick Cannon, Wayne Brady, Marlon Wayans, Dallas Austin, Usher, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Brad James, and more. (via Who's Dated Who)

The "Brotherly Love" star also opened up about how he and Chilli met for the first time, saying they met on a flight then immediately started talking and planned to keep in touch, but they were caught in a snowstorm.

"Literally an hour before the flight took off, they said, 'OK, we got you on this flight. You gotta go,'" he added.

Just last week, the actor was photographed picking up his girlfriend from the airport and the two also packed PDA for their fan's delight.
