Takeoff's murder trial has been put in motion since then, investigating the real cause of what caused the fatal altercation and whether the current suspect is actually guilty.

Now, 600 Breezy became candid in the conversation on whether Quavo's expected actions toward his nephew's trial would constitute him being called a "snitch" in the hip-hop community.

Snitching has become a hot topic in the community recently; this is because everyone was shocked when Gunna and other members of the YSL Records who were jailed last May 2022 pleaded guilty to a plea deal in exchange for their freedom. Young Thug, the main person remaining in jail pressed for the hefty charges, is awaiting his high-profile trial.

Is Quavo A Snitch?

In a conversation with Vlad TV, 600 Breezy gave his honest opinion on what he thought of the situation at hand.

Vlad mentioned the high possibility that Quavo might go on the stand and cooperate with the prosecution on the conviction of Takeoff's murder, who is also like them, an African-American.

But for 600 Breezy, he doubts that Quavo would testify in court to help the conviction of Takeoff's murderer.

"I doubt one bit that Quavo would get on the stand and say anything that'll make people say, 'Oh, Quavo's a snitch,. For the sake of his career and all that s--- his nephew's gone. His nephew's dead and gone. Nothing he can do to bring him back," Breezy said.

Per Breezy, Quavo "would not do that to himself." The rapper believes that if the Migos rapper would take the stand and divulge matters that would incriminate the suspect in hand, "he got the snitch jacket on him now."

A California State University study reveals that the idea of a "no snitching mentality" roots back to the notion of black communities not cooperating with police forces who have been an upholder of white supremacists during the period of slavery back then. It has been perceived as a notion of an "us" vs. "them" mentality that has been carried on up until today.

"Whether the police and the African American community relationship is affected by America's cultural history or African Americans personal or vicarious experiences, both groups continue to intersect in society due to the violence that is impacting the African American community and with the police having a sworn duty of protecting and serving members in society," the study posits.

"Where we come from and how we live, it's just the rules of how it's set up," stated Breezy. "You can't be a snitch. You can't be labeled as a snitch, you don't want to be a snitch. It's code. A lot of this s--- is stupid, don't get me wrong," Breezy argued.
