Spice Girls released their popular song "Stop" 25 years ago. Seems like it was just yesterday, though!

The Spice Girls commemorated the landmark occasion by creating an alternate music video for the hit song.
The video follows the release of Spiceworld25 in November 2022, which commemorates the studio album's 25th anniversary since its first release on November 1, 1997.

The band sang while standing in a line in the middle of a street with children playing around them.

They then executed a series of intricately choreographed dance moves in time with one another.

Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Mel B, and Emma Bunton all rocked iconic 1990s hairstyles and makeup.

The original music video was shot on Carnew Street in Dublin, with each member of the group knocking on various doors.

Mel B discussed the concept for the video and said there was no storyboard for this video; it was more trial and error.

That was rather a free-for-all and had not been meticulously prepared, she explained. Everything they did is a huge mess, she shared.

She revealed that all of them wanted to contribute, so the director must be able to include them all, overlay his own ideas, and make it all flow.

The second half of the movie depicted the group engaging in various activities with young girls, including racing and dancing through the streets, skipping rope, playing hopscotch, cat's cradle and pat-a-cake, and hula hooping.

It follows Mel C's denial that the band will perform at Glastonbury this year.

She expressed her desire for the ensemble to perform at the festival, but emphasized it is not in the group's current plans.

When asked if festival co-organizer Emily Eavis has invited the band to play, she told the Guardian's G2 supplement that it's the question she despises answering because the answer is as disappointing to her as it is to Spice Girls fans.
She shared that they would all love to attend Glasto but a reunion performance simply does not fit into the current plan for the girls. She said they all want to return to the stage, but everything is uncertain as of now.

The Spice Girls, consisting of Emma Bunton and Mel B, reassembled without Victoria Beckham for a stadium tour three years ago, and Melanie feels the fashion designer has 'fomo' (fear of missing out) on her absence from the 2019 Spice World Tour.

She expressed optimism that Victoria will eventually alter her mind and reconnect with her bandmate.
