It looks like New York would have to suffice with the loud sound of the Big Apple for now, as the Rolling Loud New York is canceled.
The annual hip-hop music festival is one of the most highly-anticipated musical events in the Tri-State area.
In a recent report from Billboard, it seemed like the annual music festival was called off.
Why is Rolling Loud New York 2023 Canceled?
Rolling Loud New York organizers said in a press release last Mar. 17, 2023 that plans for the execution of Rolling Loud New York Music Festival 2023 are no longer in the works.
The reason why Rolling Loud New York 2023 was canceled is because of unexplained "logistical factors."
As of this writing, that is only the given reason why Rolling Loud New York 2023 was canceled, even noting that it was beyond their hands, possibly meaning that it was uncontrollable or caused by force too big for the festival organizers to handle.
"Sadly, due to logistical factors beyond our control, Rolling Loud will not return to New York in 2023. But don't worry, this isn't 'goodbye,' more like 'see you later.' We'll be back in New York when the time is right," the statement reads.
However, it seemed like the problem is only isolated in the state of New York as Rolling Loud in Miami, Florida, is still continuing.
The Rolling Loud New York organizers invited fans, including those upset because of the cancelation, to come to join them on Jul. 21, 22, and 23, 2023, for the "biggest, best festival" of the year.
Checking the comments on Twitter, the Toronto leg of the music festival is also in motion despite the New York cancelation.
Meanwhile, many fans were upset about the Rolling Loud New York cancellation, especially those fans hoping to complete the Rolling Loud trifecta - Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.
"Yeah they ain't going back. They said the same for the Bay Area and haven't been back there since 2019," a fan pointed out.
