Kelsey Parker celebrates her first birthday without her late husband Tom by posting a devastating obituary for him. She reminded the fans how The Wanted star died just a year ago and around this day in 2022, he was preparing for his tour -- his last one but nobody knew at the time.
Nearly a year after Tom's death on March 30, 2022, after a year-and-a-half-long fight against stage four glioblastoma brain cancer, the 32-year-old posted on Instagram to commemorate the occasion. Kelsey tweeted a sweet photo of herself kissing her wheelchair-bound husband on the cheek just before his final tour with The Wanted.
She accompanied her image with a tear-jerking message about having her birthday without him for the first time, describing it as yet "another first" following his loss. The message was quite bittersweet though as it started quite sad but ended in a hopeful note. She's apparently sad that the star is no longer here but not close to the possibility that she can still live and enjoy the life she has.
The devastated widow has recounted her loss in a documentary with ITV, called 'Life After Tom."

Kelsey and Tom dated for around 13 years. In 2016, they announced their engagement, and in 2018, they wed in a lovely wedding in Surrey.
On Valentine's Day last month, Kelsey and her new boyfriend Sean Boggans went on a double date. It surfaced in November last year that Kelsey - who shared daughters Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two, with Tom - was dating Sean some eight months after her husband's death.
Friends introduced the couple in October at a wedding in Greenwich, London. Sean though has quite a sordid past - something that Kelsey is willing to overlook.
After a violent fight over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford, Essex, Sean fatally struck Shaun McDermott, 44, resulting in his death. He was waiting for his then-girlfriend to collect him when an argument broke out with Shaun, who was knocked to the ground during the skirmish. Surveillance footage subsequently recorded the electrician leaving the area. Shaun was located on the sidewalk at approximately 1:00 a.m. with a brain hemorrhage. A autopsy determined that he died from head injuries, and a judge at the Old Bailey sentenced Boggans to four years in prison.
Kelsey had previously stated that her deceased husband would be "glad" if she found love again after his passing.
The widow broke her silence once it became known that she was in the beginning stages of a relationship with Sean. Kelsey revealed in the third episode of her reality show Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom that she believed Tom would give her permission to date again, underlining that she is still'so young'. Kelsey was observed gathering with a group of ladies who had also lost their husbands.
