On the eve of her birthday, Ruby Rose suddenly disappeared from social media after posting a distressing message about how there is "nothing to celebrate." While many people do not particularly celebrate their birthdays anyway, there's something in how she worded her statements and the tone of her announcement that sparked fear and worry among her fans.

Not to mention, she used to celebrate the day with her friends and even showed how much she enjoyed these get togethers with her close friends.

On Sunday afternoon, the Australian actress, who turns 37 on Monday, posted an Instagram Story saying that she would be logging out of her accounts until Tuesday.

Ruby stated in her mysterious message, which she removed mere minutes later, that she does not celebrate her birthday, but did not provide an explanation that she'll be away till the 21st. She said those who have followed her long enough would be aware that she does not acknowledge this day.

It is unclear why the star of "Orange Is the New Black" no longer celebrates her birthday, as she did in the past with friends and family. Ruby celebrated her birthday early in 2019 with a number of pals, including her former co-star in Batwoman, Rachel Skarsten, and You actress, Elizabeth Lail.

The group danced around Ruby's kitchen while eating cake and junk food and sang to vintage pop music. On what appeared to be a healthy evening, the women wore similar "Happy Birthday Ruby" t-shirts and created their own dances. At the time, she proclaimed that her friends were simply the best.

While better known as an actress, Ruby Rose is a singer too and has an album to her name.

Back in February 2012, Rose released her first single "Guilty Pleasure" with Gary Go. In November 2016, she released and directed The Veronicas' single "On Your Side".

Ruby Rose's singing ability is significantly less well-known than her acting ability, despite the fact that everyone who adores her from Orange is the New Black knows she can act. In the upcoming film Pitch Perfect 3, however, when her character Calamity and her band EverMoist compete against the Bellas, Rose has some pretty great vocals.

Following the film's premiere on December 22, Rose reveals that singing has been a consistent aspect of her life, even if people were unaware. With her performance as Stella in Season 3 of Orange Is the New Black and her appearances in action films such as Resident Evil, xXx, and John Wick, the Australian-born actress became a pop culture phenomenon in the United States. But, singing has always been a passion.

While she has occasionally sang and played guitar throughout her life, Pitch Perfect 3, in which Rose portrays a beautiful, arrogant frontwoman who outperforms the Bellas, provided her the opportunity to express a desire she had largely repressed over the past decade.
