Wayne Swinny, popularly known for being one of the founding members of the American rock band Saliva, has passed away at the age of 59; what was his cause of death?
In early reports, the band revealed on their official Facebook page that the musician was rushed to the hospital and was admitted to an intensive care unit after paramedics were called as he was in "medical distress."
At the time, he was diagnosed with a "Spontaneous Hemorrhage in his brain."
Now, it has been confirmed that the Tenessee-based rocker had died. In a statement, a representative of the group told a news outlet that he passed away this afternoon from the medical condition while on tour.

Vocalist Bobby Amaru released a statement after his good pal's passing, saying he's unsure what to think and feel at the moment. (via Blabbermouth)
"My heart aches for Wayne's family, his friends, and anyone who had the joy of being around him. My heart aches for his daughter Nikki. He loved that little girl so much," he added.
The musician then looked back at his journey with the late rockstar, saying he was a guitar hero whenever they perform on stage and he has that "rock 'n' roll swag" that many musicians dream of.
Whenever he's not touring, Wayne Swinny was described as an "incredible human being" without any enemies and he would go out of his way to make sure his friends will have a good time.
Concluding his sentiments, the singer expressed his gratitude for sharing 12 years of his life with the late musician, not just as a professional rocker, but also as friends off stage.
Back when he was alive, Amaru said he learned a lot and he considers him as the older brother he never had.
"We had a f****** blast together! I will cherish it all for the rest of my life!" he added.
Saliva Career Explored
The band was founded in 1996 with original members Josey Scott Sappington, Todd Poole, Dave Novotny, Swinny, and Dave D'Abaldo.
The guitarist is now the only original member left of the current lineup which includes Amaru, Brad Stewart, and Sammi Bishop.
According to Blabbermouth, the group's success skyrocketed in 2001 after the release of their smash album "Every Six Seconds," which featured singles "Click, Click Boom," and "Your Disease."
Aside from being successful musicians on their own, they also traveled across the United States with massive bands like Aerosmith, Kiss, and Sevendust.
