SZA has had a very successful "SOS" tour! Taking place at the right time when her name started gaining much prominence after the "SOS" album release, to say that her North America concert tour was sensational is an understatement.

However, as she had publicly addressed before, the singer seemed to confess online that she had been suffering from mental health problems as she was approaching the last few stops of her North American leg.

SZA SOS Tour Los Angeles

Capping off her 19-show tour in the United States, SZA had a two-night show at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

In attendance were perhaps the biggest stars yet - Justin Bieber, Adele, Hailey Bieber, and even Kim Kardashian, to name a few.

Her opening act, Grammy-nominated Best New Artist Omar Apollo, slowly became one of the highly-anticipated moments of SZA's tour. From being snubbed by many fans on the earlier shows, Apollo, with his growing following, has established himself as a strong headlining act at SZA's concerts.

Performing a total of 33 songs per concert, SZA's fans are given the ultimate treat as she sings songs both from her albums - "Ctrl" and "SOS."

In social media, specifically on TikTok, clips of SZA's very theatrical set, and stage, which uses a lot of animated background, her being rowed a hundred feet up in the air by a raft, and diving into the water, are just some of the theatrics that shocked many of her fans.

In a Billboard interview, SZA revealed that these are all part of a plan to express a side of hers that is often overlooked - her theatrical side!

"I am deeply excited to pop ass and cry and give theater. I want it to feel like a play on Broadway, but more like Suspiria and Cirque du Soleil in the weirdest way. I want it to be smart and exhilarating and exhausting and exciting like a party, but also like a therapy session," she revealed.

SZA Mental Health Problems

In a Tweet, she posted last Mar. 22, 2023, SZA alarmed some of her fans when she noted that her anxiety has been worsening more than it has ever been at the moment.

March 22 marked the first night of his last show of two days in The Kia Forum in California. Whether that anxiety was exacerbated by the end of her tour or other factors, we do not know.

In the past, SZA had been very public about her mental health problems. She has been diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and anxiety.
