According to Loudwire, the former Iron Maiden singer was hospitalized earlier this week after suffering from a heart attack at his home. The musician was traveling across European countries for his series of concerts supporting his solo album "War Within Me."
His representatives Mark and Christopher Appleton recently gave a statement on his official Facebook page about the singer's current state, saying that they visited him in the hospital and was able to get an update about what the doctors would do to him in order to fully recover.

It appears that the musician is not giving up as the management reps revealed he has not lost his "strength and sense of humor."
Over the next few days, the singer is expected to undergo surgery as long as the hospital capacity allows it. He will be undergoing a "triple (possibly quadruple) heart bypass."
Since the medical procedure is major, fans should expect that Bayley needs months' worth of recovery and his representatives will announce what would happen to his tour after they consult the venues and promoters for his concerts.
