Jamie Lynn Marie Spears was born on April 4, 1991 in McComb, Mississippi to Lynne and Jamie Spears. Spears, though, was raised in Kentwood, Louisiana. Jamie and sister, Britney, has an older brother named Bryan. As a child, Jamie has always been a performer. Jamie loved gymnastics, dance, acting, and singing while she was growing up, as per ImdB.
Jamie is a mother to a daughter named Maddie Aldridge (born 2008), whose father is the singer/actress' ex-fiance, Casey Aldridge. Jamie now lives in Louisiana with husband, Jamie Watson, with her family, including her daughter with Watson, Ivey Watson.
Jamie Spears' Career in Music and Acting
Jamie Lynn Spears' movie acting debut was a role in Britney Spears' lead starrer, "Crossroads" (2002). Jamie starred in the series from Nickeledeon called, "Zoey 101" (2005-2008). Other series Jamie starred in included "All That" (1994-2020), also from Nickeledeon, and Netflix's "Sweet Magnolias" (2020), for two seasons. Jamie currently stars in the reality show called, "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" from Fox.
Jamie's 2014 debut EP is titled, "The Journey." This album is of country music genre. According to Allmusic.com, Spears' 2016 single,"Sleepover", and the 2020 duet with Chantel Jeffries called, "Follow Me," see the singer/actress transition from country to pop music.
