Drake shook HipHop fans when he teased the snippet of his upcoming new song, "Rescue Me." While sampling old songs seemed to be a trend in the music industry right now, Drake's choice definitely got the attention of many.
Kanye West and Drake's feud might be the biggest one in all of hip-hop, but they have buried the hatchet already in the past few years. However, with Drake's new move right now, the Kanye West-Drake feud might have been reignited.
Drake Sampled Kim Kardashian's Line on New Song' Rescue Me'
Teasing his new song on SiriusXM's Sound 42's "The Fry Yiy Show," fans of both Drake and the Kardashian household heard a familiar line on the new Drake song.
"I didn't come this far, just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that," Kim Kardashian said on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in 2021, referencing her breakup with Kanye West.
The same line was ingrained in the snippet that Drake teased on the radio show.
For those who don't know, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West officially divorced their marriage in 2022, citing differences in lifestyle and politics as the reason. The aftermath of the West-Kardashian divorce is nothing but messy and disastrous, which even dragged many people into the drama.
"Come and rescue me. Take me out the club, take me out the trap. Take me off the market, take me off the map. I'm tryna hit the group chat and tell 'em," Drake further rapped.
Meanwhile, remaining fans of Kanye West took to Twitter to raise their questions - is Drake beefing with Kanye West?
Drake vs Kanye West Feud Reignited?
Ye fans online were annoyed with the seemingly sneaky diss directed to the rap mogul on Drake's new track, asking why he has to revive a years-old beef.
"Why can't he just let the beef die lmao," a user asked.
"Drake need to find a job at Mc Donald that beef with Kanye is outdated," another echoed.
"How u clowning a failed marriage when u had a lovechild wit a pornstar and tried to cover it up," someone pointed out.
But, everything else was hashed out when Drake's own father, Dennis Graham, had to say his piece.
"Drake is not trolling anyone, it's just a song. Why try and create a Kanye and Drake beef again??????????????? [palm face emojis]," he said in an Instagram comment.
Would Drake's father's comments surely hash the feud between the two rap superstars?
