It has been announced that renowned singer Janet Jackson is in talks to have her life narrative made into a series.
Multiple script writers are now participating in this project, according to sources close to the "That's The Way Love Goes" hitmaker.
In contrast to biopics of Elton John and Whitney Houston, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson's sister is preparing a small TV drama series.
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, she and her team are looking for a competent author to develop the biography, with Lifetime among those interested in the idea.
A new mini-series would recount the tale of Janet Jackson's life, from her wealthy childhood to her ultimate emergence as a singer and relationship with her famous brother.
Her music is believed to be a great accompaniment to this drama.
While Janet was not engaged in the project, Sebastian Stan and Lily James' portrayals of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in Hulu's TV dramatization enthralled audiences, earning them many Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations.
The program gained critical praise internationally for providing a fascinating peek into Anderson and Lee's turbulent relationship.
Janet launched her highly anticipated Together Again tour, her first in four years, one month ago.
It has been confirmed that Lifetime and A+E Networks will make a documentary about this 33-date tour throughout America.
Her docu-series will take the next step in the journey she began in 2022.
"I am excited to continue sharing my story, and welcome fans into my life and the Together Again tour," Janet stated at the time.
"Thank you for your never-ending support," she said, "and I hope you enjoy the next chapter."
