Taylor Swift is known as one of the most gifted singer-songwriters in this generation, and her muse for the last couple of years has been one man: Joe Alwyn.
Now that rumors of the pair breaking up is circulating the internet, fans are looking back at all the songs the "Anti-Hero" singer has written about her long-time lover.
Out of all the songs Swift has written about the actor, here's a handful that are very special and romantic that will make people rethink whether the rumors hold any water.
"...Read For It?"
"... Ready For It?" is the very first song on Swift's 2017 studio album "reputation"-which is a record generally regarded as a love album by the singer's fans.
Swift sings "Some, some boys are tryin' too hard/ He don't try at all, though/ Younger than my exes but he act like such a man, so/ I see nothing better, I keep him forever/ Like a vendetta-ta."
"Dress"
The most telling of all the songs about Alwyn is "Dress." This is the song that references the very first time the pair met: at the 2016 MET Gala; and Swift sings about Alwyn's buzzcut and her bleached hair.
"Peace"
From the "folklore" album, fans suspect that one song in particular alludes to the singer and actor's relationship: "Peace."
In an interview with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone, the "Lavender Haze" singer explained the meaning behind the song: "'Peace' is actually more rooted in my personal life....
"[Its about] carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you've met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living."
"I can't control if there's going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow."
"Lover"
This list wouldn't be complete without the title track for Swift's 2019 album "Lover."
Swift's legendary love song creatively adapted a vow, usually used in weddings, and she also added several wedding references.
"Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?/ With every guitar string scar on my hand/ I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover."
"My heart's been borrowed and yours has been blue/ All's well that ends well to end up with you/ Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover."
"Paper Rings"
Following the theme of weddings in love songs, Swift sings about commitment and devotion to someone without the need for expensive things.

"London Boy"
Is there a song more telling than "London Boy"? Swift is known to have a thing for the Brits, but no one has captured her heart than one particular Englishman.
"Invisible String"
Fans claim that by switching "Invisible String" with "The 1," Swift already dropped an easter egg that she and Alwyn had broken up.
The song follows the singer thinking about the little things that tied her and her lover together, "isn't it just so pretty to think/ All along there was some/ invisible string/ tying you to me?"
"Mastermind"
"Mastermind" comes from Swift's most recent album "Midnights." It follows the singer talking about all the things she did to make sure that he would fall in love with her... Only for her to find out, that he was a willing accomplice.
"Lavender Haze"
The most ironic song to be included in this list is "Lavender Haze." Swift openly criticizes the media and people for reducing her status in their relationship ("The Only kinda girl they see/ Is a one-night or a wife."
"Sweet Nothing"
This song is an extra-special long song, as it was written with "William Bowery," the alias Alwyn uses when he collaborates with Swift on her music.
The song highlights the simplicity of the couple's relationship.
