Ghost will cover one of Genesis' songs in its upcoming album.
Fans had been wondering whether Ghost would drop a new album ahead of its 27-date tour in the US, Re-Imperatour. It will start on Aug. 2 in Concord, California, and end on Sep. 11 in Los Angeles.
Ghost confirmed the arrival of its five-track album months before it kicks off the first set of its US tour dates.
Ghost To Release "Phantomime"
On Easter Sunday, Ghost revealed the arrival of its upcoming song covers in the EP, "Phantomime."
Consequence of Music released the album's artwork and tracklist, which includes Genesis' hit song, "Jesus He Knows Me." The track was originally released in 1992 as part of its 14th studio album, "We Can't Dance."
The other songs in the album include Television's "See No Evil," The Stranglers' "Hanging Around," Iron Maiden's "Phantom of the Opera," and Thunderdome ft. Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero."
Ghost is set to release "Phantomime" on May 18, months before its scheduled Re-Imperatour shows 2023.
